1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13, or any higher minimum age required where you live, and legally able to agree to these Terms. The Site is not targeted or designed for children below that age.

If the Site learns that an account does not meet the applicable age requirement, it may restrict or remove the account and delete associated information as required by law.

2. Accounts and security

• Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity through your account unless you promptly report suspected compromise.
• Email is optional. It must be verified before it can be used for recovery.
• Passkeys, authenticator-app codes, and one-time backup codes are optional security methods.
• Do not impersonate another person, evade a suspension, reserve misleading handles, or access another member’s account.

3. Community conduct

• Do not harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, or deliberately expose another person’s private information.
• Do not post unlawful content, malware, scams, spam, deceptive links, or material that facilitates abuse or unauthorized access.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
• Do not use the Site to process protected health information, payment-card data, or information the Site says it cannot accept.
• Follow reasonable moderator instructions and use reporting or contact channels in good faith.

4. Your content

You keep the ownership rights you have in content you submit, including posts, messages, profile text, and images.

You grant ValentineDesigns a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit, display, perform, and make limited technical or accessibility changes to that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, back up, and provide the Site in line with your visibility choices. Those limited rights may be sublicensed to hosting and service providers solely to provide the Site.

This does not transfer ownership or authorize sale, generative-AI training, merchandise, or off-site promotion without separate permission. The license ends when content is deleted or the account closes, subject to actions already taken, limited backups or legally required copies, and copies others independently made.

5. Private messages and visibility

Private Messages and Instant Messages use separate participant-only systems. Routine staff access is not provided. If a participant reports a message, the reported item and limited surrounding context may be made available to authorized staff for safety review. Infrastructure incidents or binding legal obligations may also require narrowly limited access. Do not use messages for highly sensitive information.

Visibility controls govern how the Site ordinarily presents optional information; they cannot prevent a recipient from copying information you chose to share.

6. ValentineDesigns content and local reader files

The Site, its design, original stories, comics, artwork, characters, marks, and publisher material belong to ValentineDesigns or their respective rights holders. These Terms do not authorize republishing, selling, scraping, or unauthorized commercial use.

When the reader says a file stays local, imported book files are processed on your device and are not intentionally uploaded. You remain responsible for having the right to use files you select.

7. Moderation and enforcement

ValentineDesigns may remove content, limit features, change handles, suspend accounts, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect members, respond to legal requests, or maintain the Site. Moderation is not a promise that every item will be reviewed before publication.

8. Copyright and other rights complaints

Send rights complaints to [email protected] with the work or right, material at issue, your contact information, and a good-faith explanation. Additional information may be requested.

9. Third-party services

The Site may link to or rely on third-party services, including ChatGPT Sites hosting, Discord, Patreon, Klipy when enabled, device-selected passkey/authenticator providers, and a transactional email provider when enabled. Their terms and privacy practices apply to your direct use of them.

OpenAI hosts the Site but does not create, support, certify, or endorse The Gremmoire or its content.

10. Free access, interruptions, and beta features

Access is currently free. The Site is under active development, so features may change, break, move, or be discontinued, and maintenance may interrupt access. Permanent availability of any feature or user content is not promised; keep your own copy of anything important.

11. Disclaimers

The Site is a free personal project under active development and is provided as available, without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing here limits a right protected by applicable law.

12. Ending your use

You may stop using the Site at any time. Account deletion and data-access requests are handled through the Privacy Policy contact until self-service tools are available. Terms that should survive by their nature continue after termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

Material updates receive an in-service notice. Account holders will be asked to review and accept the current version before continuing to protected features. The current version and effective date appear with the document.
